Biography
I always wanted to be a doctor and I had a special interest in obstetrics after being able to participate in deliveries early on in my education.
I found a love for surgery after spending time in the operating room during medical school and from then on, I knew that obstetrics and gynecology would allow me to balance both the clinical and surgical aspects of medicine. It is a privilege to be able to care for women through various stages of life, whether that is routine visits, pregnancy, or surgical treatments of gynecologic conditions. I was born and raised in Nebraska and attended a small state college in Chadron, Nebraska where I earned a degree in Human Biology. I then moved to Omaha, Nebraska where I pursued a degree in medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After medical school, I completed my residency at the University of Oklahoma at Tulsa before moving to Gilbert, Arizona to begin practice at Valley Women for Women. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our twins, Everly and Rowan. Together we particularly enjoy travelling, running, kayaking, hiking, and golfing. We also enjoy trying new food, whether that is cooking at home or finding new restaurants.Education
